First joint technical workshop focused on clean energy sources from fossil fuels and waste as well as renewable energy sources will be held in Prague, Czech Technical University in Prague, on 4th-5th November 2015. Pprogram is available for download.
This is the first technical workshop organized within the project “Czech-Icelandic Clen Energy Cooperation” supported by the EEA grants funding that starts up future cooperation between the partner institutions – CTU in Prague and Reykjavík University. The workshop comprises of technical sessions (see the preliminary program for download), tour to the laboratory facilities of the Department of Energy Engineering and site excursion to two real scale examples of clean energy production of energy from fossil fuels – IGCC plant in Vřesová based on coal gasification with complete syngas treatment facility (including Rectisol process for future possible CO2 capture) and recently comissioned CCGT plant in Počerady, using natural gas for electricity production.
